The SCDC  has compiled this directory of tools and resources to help stakeholders in education, health, social services, and the general community better support students living with sickle cell disease (SCD). Resources on this webpage cover a student’s full academic career – from daycare to higher education and workforce entry – and consider regional differences, lifestyle, and health changes. People living with SCD and caregivers may also find resources on this webpage helpful.

Access to educational support and community services is vital for students living with sickle cell to thrive throughout the school year.
