Sick Cells is a national advocacy organization for sickle cell disease whose mission is to elevate the voices of the sickle cell disease (SCD) community and our stories of resilience. The Sick Cells Ambassador Program is a volunteer network of advocates dedicated to changing the landscape of sickle cell disease with a focus of policy. This diverse network of sickle cell ambassadors meets regularly to discuss the community’s needs, how to best educate our peers, and how to engage in policy at all levels.
