How We Work Together to Conquer Sickle Cell Disease

The SCD Coalition brings together stakeholders through both coalition-wide engagement and focused subcommittees that tackle the most pressing issues facing the sickle cell community. These subcommittees meet quarterly to drive progress on both short- and long-term goals.

While subcommittees may evolve and be re-evaluated every few years, the Coalition’s five key priority areas remain constant and guide our collective efforts. Each priority area represents a critical pathway toward improving outcomes and equity for individuals living with SCD. Visit the pages below to learn more about how each area contributes to our mission.
