SCD disproportionately affects African Americans, and although hydroxyurea is effective in reducing pain encounters and hospitalizations, too few children are receiving this treatment. This webinar will highlight how H + H increased hydroxyurea prescription rates through a unified vision for hydroxyurea treatment shared by all provider types, online educational models for providers and patients, and an electronic medical record SCD navigator.
