The in-person walk/run will take place in the Shattuck Picnic Area, Franklin Park, across from the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, 1 Circuit Drive, Boston. Registration opens at 8:00am. All walkers/runners must check-in at the registration tent and sign a waiver. Late arrivals are welcome to join the course at any time.
REGISTRATION
We encourage everyone to register online to participate. All donations will go directly to funding programs and services offered by the organization. Online registration closes on September 20th at midnight. On-site registration is available on the day of the event.
T-SHIRTS
All registered walkers/runners who have collected pledges will receive a t-shirt. Walkers/Runners who have not collected pledges can purchase a t-shirt on the day of the event. T-shirts for in-person walkers/runners can be picked up at the registration tent. T-shirts for virtual walkers/runners will be mailed approximately one week before the event. Please register early to ensure that your t-shirt arrives on time.
ROUTEWalk Route
The in-person walk route consists of a 2.5 mile loop around the William E. Devine golf course inside Franklin Park. The route is suitable for walkers of all abilities. Walkers are welcome to complete as many laps as they feel comfortable. Virtual walkers can choose their own route and distance.
Run Route
The course begins and ends in the Shattuck Picnic area inside Franklin Park, directly across from the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, loops around Scarborough Pond, then around the William Devine Golf Course.
FINISH, FOOD, AND FUN
The end of the walk will signal the start of the Multicultural Concert featuring local performers. There will be an on-site refreshments table with water and light food. There will be music and kid-friendly activities including face painting. Bring the whole family and help raise awareness.
