Join the Sickle Cell Disease Pain Analgesia & Integrative Network's (SCDPAIN) Networking Meeting on August 4-6, 2025 in Los Angeles, CA.
This meeting will bring together experts in CIWH, pain mechanisms, neuroscience, organ damage, advance technology, whole body physiology and sickle cell disease (SCD) to develop multidisciplinary approaches for targeting pain using CIWH strategy. The goal is to develop ongoing and future collaborative programs, develop ideas and identify gaps intended to lead to advances in the application of CIWH to improve health related outcomes in chronic disease. It will harness the expertise to develop novel methods and models to understand and analyze the involvement of organs, disease pathophysiology, interoception and cognitive function to advance CIWH strategies for pain treatment.
Independent investigators, early-stage investigators, trainees, community healthcare participants and patients are expected to participate and learn from each other in this meeting.
